Teach me

When the cold breeze blows
And darkness surrounds
In the empty corners
Your thoughts embrace around 

Can you teach me?
To keep your thoughts away
And fight the struggle 
To answer questions I weigh

I’ve heard people wish 
on a faraway star
I too believed in the myth 
For you, I was on a war

Can you teach me?
To not wish for you 
On every falling star
Underneath the sky of blue

All I wanted love to mean
Was a thousand versions of you
You left and taught me
Idea of love isn’t meant to be true

Can you teach me?
To not love all of you 
And find those scattered pieces
Of my heart that you threw

Come, teach me now
To unlearn things that you taught
To not feel, feelings you gave
And forget memories you brought 

Teach me everything,
Till all my sorrow is gone
To free my captive heart
So you won’t be my last resort!

Twinkling Twinkling.. They were one two three.. A hundred, A thousand And Millions and billions forming a bewildering myriad ! Out of our reach but within our sight. Shining bubbly bright. Rhythmically dancing to a profound Tune That only he and me exemplary knew ! A variety of patterns that they formed. And Like diamonds in the dark sky they glowed. Dissenting the life we shared. And it all seemed Like a fairytale ! Staring at the wide sky, with starlight around His perfume mingling, in my surround. Embraced now, softly we kiss. That felt like pure Bliss !                                The waves indeterminably tossed into each other. She stood there gazing at the wilderness. Her thoughts wandered like the wildflowers in the wind. "Would anyone ever break through her rind?" To the one's unloved, She had numerous ways to love. A home to the broken. She believed she would be now. Within the shadows of her voice Masked by words of plea. She heard her heart whisper, "When would I find a Home for me?" The nights dragged along wrapped in the darkness.
