Epiphany

I failed to understand the unspoken.
Whether I was unloved or broken.
The feelings I always buried within
I secretly desired someone to break in.

Loving never guarantees its return in equal measure.
This thought resided as my very own treasure.
You broke this perception into pieces hard to find.
A different insight blossomed into my mind!

The more I knew you,
The more I was astound.
You left me thinking and almost spellbound!
You showed me your flaws.
Yet, I chose to stay.
The moment I realised.
It was hard to walk away.

Our souls caught fire 
Even before our eyes could meet.
Who knew that,
Both hearts would tune to the same beat!

I was in Love with the all of you.
In so less time which is hard to believe.
Darling, your love has cast a spell!
It seems like forever in which I could dwell.

I have found my content.
In between your embrace.
Amidst your tender kisses,
Pure bliss my heart traced.

I found a reason why it feels so right.
From my soul to ink on white.
The answer to only question, you cajole.
“You’re not my better half, you’re my whole!”
