Etched
On a bright summery morning
When skies wore a crystal blue
Awaiting with eagerness yet
Struggling to conceal the outspoken cue
Between the noises of the world,
And how the warm air felt
An awkward handshake
A startling conversation spelt
Hiding the immediate rush
Both the hearts helt!
Crossing the lane down
With an old lady in distress
My eyes fixed on,
this kind sight of noblesse.
Claiming your flaws
Manifesting those scars imperfect
But, I perceived the fire
Absolutely irrevocably perfect!
I was obsessed and possessed
Inside and out
My heart was conquered
Without a single doubt
Knowing now there wasn’t
Any escape out!
I’ve held these moments
Deep within my head
They etched beautifully
A whole universe widespread.
